After studying graphic design at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel vocational school, Reinhart Morscher worked for an advertising agency in the same city. From 1970 to 1973, he was Art Director of the Halblützel & Jaquet studio in Bern, where the famous poster and advertisement campaigns for Schweppes were created. Later, in his own studio, he produced numerous corporate designs, including pieces for the Bern transport association and Gurten beer. From 1980 to 1998, Morscher was a lecturer in verbal communication at a technical college for design.
